You will see from our site and when dealing with us that there are 4 refreshing things about us.
- We are straight talking, honest and to the point

- We offer great value for money
- We give fantastic customer service
There are 3 main things that make up a CCTV system
- Digital Video Recorder (DVR)
- Cameras
- Monitor
A bit of cabling to connect them all together, professionally installed by our expert engineers and hey presto your CCTV is up and running. Simple as that.
DVR
The Digital Video Recorder (or DVR) is the brains of the system and there are 3 main things that make up a DVR and will affect the price.
- How many cameras you can connect to your DVR (normal sizes of DVR are 4, 8 or 16 cameras)
- How long you want to be able to record for (the size of the Hard Disk Drive and number of cameras you have recording will determine this) 14 days is normally enough but bigger hard drives will record for longer
- How you want to download and keep any evidence (all our DVR’s download by USB memory stick as standard but we can also do CD or DVD download for a bit extra)
All of our DVR’s come with a hard drive that will record 24 hours per day and will store at the least the last 2 weeks recording. With bigger hard drives you can record for up to one year.
If you have recorded an incident which you want to save you simply plug a USB memory stick into the DVR and download the evidence to keep forever or give to the police etc.
When connected to your broadband you can look through your cameras from anywhere in the world. We even have an app for the iphone so you can look through cameras live through your iphone or even look back at past recordings on your iphone.
If you are a bit of geek and want the technical spec for our DVR’s just give us a call on freephone 0500 1 0500 2 and we will email it you. If you are not a geek just take our word for it they are great.
Cameras
There are hundreds of different cameras to choose from but we have looked at them all and whittled it down for you to 2 types of camera that are fantastic for most domestic and commercial premises. If you want any other type then we can easily get them for you just give us a call on freephone 0500 1 0500 2.
The 2 cameras that we have chosen for you are super high resolution day and night infra red cameras. They have the exact same lens and both give the same high quality picture and recording but just look different. They both record in colour during daylight and automatically switch to black and white at night time by using the 36 infra red LED’s that will give a good image in darkness up to 30 metres away.
One is an anti-vandal dome camera which is a bit more discreet and the other is what we call “a camera that looks like a camera”. This one gives a bit more of a visual deterrent. You can mix the cameras so you can have a few of each on your system if you like.
If you are a bit of a geek and want the technical spec for our cameras just give us a call on freephone 0500 1 0500 2 and we will email it you. If you are not a geek just take our word for it they are great.
Monitors
All of our systems come with a 17”TFT flat screen monitor as standard. We put this on top of, or next to, the DVR. You can have more than one monitor, different size monitors or have it located somewhere else in your premises - just ask and we will tell you the price difference.
