Security Shield Vandal is a generic version of the original Security Shield Intruder. It serves as a low-cost alternative for the protection of glazing against vandalism, where
security from forced entry is not a primary concern.

The system complements existing windows and doors whether classical or contemporary, traditional or modern. It is a durable metal screen mounted in front of or behind existing windows. It is not a film or a fly-screen. premiums.

Manufacture and installation can often be more economical than frequently replacing the glazing or paying increased insurance premiums.

From a distance Security Shield Vandal merely gives the impression that the windows are fitted with tinted glass; but at close quarters it's a visible deterrent to would-be burglars or glass smashing vandals. The fixings are neatly recessed within the frame and finished with a cap.

Security Shield Vandal does not carry any official security approvals and must not be specified as an alternative to Security Shield, though there may be applications where a combination of the products would be appropriate.
